Description
Mpoetsi Madolo is married with four dependents and needs to generate income to support her family. Currently she sources second-hand clothing from outlets in Hermanus and the neighbouring towns, as well as travelling to Bellville to procure clothing at reasonable prices. These clothes she then re-sells in Zwelihle and surrounding areas. By dint of hard work and lots of door-to-door calls she has managed to develop a viable business.
“While the business is viable, I lack the capital to be able to purchase an extended range of stock. I would like to expand to include shoes, dresses, school uniforms and accessories such as earrings and bracelets. A loan from Hermanus Siyakha would enable me to expand my stock and add items that are in demand in the community.”

This project has been set up to succeed through a careful vetting process together with ongoing mentorship and management. Repayment of your loan will only take place at the end of the loan period (usually 12 months) and not monthly. However, as we cannot give any guarantees, in the unlikely event that the project does fail you will not receive the full repayment of your loan but a pro rata percentage depending upon what portion of the loan has been recovered from the business owner.
When clicking on the crowdfunding page you may find that your chosen project is already ENDED. This means that either the project is already fully funded or, that the time available to raise the funds has elapsed. In which case kindly search for another project to contribute towards.
If you wish to donate to the general running expenses of Hermanus Siyakha please return to the Home Page and click on the “Donate to Initiative” button.
