Zodwa Ngcanasa has been running her successful sewing business since 2002 to supplement her income as a care giver to the elderly. She is a single parent with three children. Zodwa attended a sewing course in 2003 with Learn to Earn and has used the skills learnt on the course to specialise in the manufacture of traditional wedding outfits, bridesmaids’ outfits and going-away outfits. She operates her business from her home and has a steady clientele base. She markets her business through social media.
She requires a loan to enable her to purchase more material, as year-end is a busy time in her sewing business.
Total loan applied for R5,000
This project has been set up to succeed through a careful vetting process together with ongoing mentorship and management. Repayment of your loan will only take place at the end of the loan period (usually 12 months) and not monthly. However, as we cannot give any guarantees, in the unlikely event that the project does fail you will not receive the full repayment of your loan but a pro rata percentage depending upon what portion of the loan has been recovered from the business owner.
