Zelda is an ambitious, reliable and forward thinking entrepreneur who wants to grow her small business and eventually be able to open her own clothing shop. Zelda’s first loan of R5,000 from Hermanus Siyakha in August 2019, for additional clothing and shoe stock, has been fully repaid in record time despite the current economic challenges.
She now qualifies for a 2nd loan with which she wants to purchase an even bigger range of clothing, shoes and cosmetics to help take her business to the next level. She uses social media extensively to successfully market and advertise her products in her community.
Zelda has benefited considerably from the support she receives from her mentor, Jo Carruthers.
Jo has this to say about Zelda – “She is an exceptional young woman and I feel privileged to know her”
Total loan applied for R10000
This project has been set up to succeed through a careful vetting process together with ongoing mentorship and management. Repayment of your loan will only take place at the end of the loan period (usually 12 months) and not monthly. However, as we cannot give any guarantees, in the unlikely event that the project does fail you will not receive the full repayment of your loan but a pro rata percentage depending upon what portion of the loan has been recovered from the business owner.
If you wish to donate to the general running expenses of Hermanus Siyakha please return to the Home Page and click on the “Donate to Initiative” button.
